First test of the assembled mask. This mask is controlled completely by an Arduino Uno, complete with eyes that blink and look around randomly, a microphone and speakers that work as a voice changer, and a mouth that moves when you talk. The mask with the LEDs runs a wire down to a chest piece that holds the remainder of the electronics.

This mask design was eventually simplified for a performance by removing the chest piece (and voice processing), attaching the battery to the side strap and using a ATtiny instead of the full-sized Uno. As a result of a shorter bootloader, the mask would respond quicker upon startup, drastically minimizing the random pattern displayed on the LEDs during it. A second copy was also made for the other performer.
